A Helotes Eye Care Practice That Puts Medical Insight First

The Eye Clinic isn’t a retail chain or high-volume practice. We’re a locally owned, medically guided optometry clinic that focuses on real diagnostics, long-term eye health, and patient relationships that span generations. If you’re looking for thorough care, answers, and continuity, you’ll find it here.

Built for Thorough, Medically Focused Eye Care

Founded over 15 years ago by Dr. Celeste Acosta, The Eye Clinic was originally an ophthalmology office. Dr. Acosta saw an opportunity to shift the model: to focus on preventative care, long-term disease management, and lens prescriptions that solve problems, not just meet minimum requirements.

We take pride in being a clinical-first practice. That means using modern diagnostics and listening closely. If you’ve ever felt rushed through an exam or left without clear answers, we offer a different kind of experience here.

Rooted in Helotes. Trusted Across Northwest San Antonio.

We are proud to serve the Helotes community and surrounding neighborhoods. As a locally owned practice, we prioritize relationships over volume. Many of our patients have been with us for years, and we are honored by their trust.

From pediatric exams to advanced dry eye therapy, we offer care that evolves with your needs. If you are looking for a more focused, medically informed approach to eye care, we would be happy to welcome you.

Why Patients Come Back Year After Year

Patients return to The Eye Clinic because we remember their case. We follow up. We notice when something small has changed, and we explain what that means. Whether it’s helping a teenager transition into contact lenses or walking an adult through post-cataract options, we stay involved at every step.

We’re not here to rush anyone through a prescription. We’re here to give you real answers and build care plans that support your vision for the long term.
